There' Are Several Blue Rooms in the Walter E. Cosgriffs1 Home By ANNE ELOISE SWEENEY "We'll have a blue room" is a popular phrase, but the Walter E. Cosgriffs' tune could be "We have several blue f1nf rooms." They VV1C Just recently 01 A moved into their n.. apartment at 0riei 1283 East South Temple street and completely refurnished their home. The walls and ceilings In the hall, the living room and the little den are painted a pale blue shade and the carpets are a deeper shade of turquoise. On each side of the doorway leading into the dining room from the hall are twin lamps which throw their light up onto twin oval mirrors. Center of interest in the living room Is the fireplace, on each side of which are twin chairs, big comfortable com-fortable one covered in a gay floral print Across the room Is a rose beige sofa with twin end tables and matching white lamps at each end. There's a little gold occasional chair, a spinet piano and several small French table about the room. The drape are blue of the tame shade as the carpet Attractive gold wall bracket hold little pink pots filled with ivy, one on each side of one window. In the dining room the walls and celling are a soft pink shade and the drapes, too, are pink. There's a big gold framed mirror above the buffet and hanging on another wall Is a striking print all in rose tones. Also opening off of the living room is a small study with peach colored curtains and a dainty French love seat upholstered In turquoise brocade. A small gold chair is in one corner beside the kidney-shaped desk. Again in the master bedroom Mrs. Cosgriff has chosen a pink and blue color scheme. The drapes are coral colored, but the bedspreads bed-spreads are tufted blue satin and the dressing" table is draped in a deep blue satin. The little bench to similarly draped. The wallpaper wall-paper to blue with a white stripe. An unusual decorative touch Is found in Mr. Coegriff s study. A red Scotch plaid covers the pillows pil-lows on the sofa and the same plaid It repeated on the window blinds. The drapes are a heavy corded beige material. |
