'Tuesday in a local hospital hos-pital folJoirinf a major operation performed six weeks ago. Mr. Snyder was born December SI, 1881, at Denver. He received his education at the University of Utah and Stanford university at Palo Alto. CaL While at the Utter Institution he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. For the past 19 years ha bad been prominent In engineering activities In the west, the last 20 years of that time serving a assistant city j engineer here. For the past few I months he had been engaged in overseeing the laying of new run- ' ways at the Salt Lake municipal airport. Surviving are hie widow, Mrs. Ivan May Snyder, Salt Lake City; three sons, Charles McClelland Snyder Sny-der and Stephen O. Snyder, Salt Lake City, and Hartland S. Snyder.
