He waa C. K. Barnea of Hamburg, Iowa, and waa to be arraigned before be-fore Juatice of the Peace Walter Ramptoa on a charge of drunken driving. Barnea waa a r reeled weat of Farmlngton on U. 8. 1 Monday night by etate highway patrolmen, who were aummoned by Barnea' terrified paaaengera after they had fled aa Barnea atopped tha car at an inn at tha Farmlngton Junction. Sheriff Joeeph Holbroofc aaid Barnea paaaengera were hia brother and aiater-in-law and two young Salt Lakera whom Barnea had picked up aa hitch hikers. Tha aheriff quoted the paaaengera aa saying they felt lucky to get out of the ear alive, after speed of TS to 90 mliee an hour. Tha brother 'and sister-la-law stayed at Kayeville Monday night and tha hitch hikers lodged In the Davia county Jail, according ta the aheriff, who did not dicloe their names.
