Wayne Johnson, high achool art supervisor and exhibit curator, has charge of the picture placing and on him rests the responsibility of arranging the mors than 200 entries. en-tries. One of tha most prised entries Is a huge landscape scene done by Redfield, and valued at more than $3000. It will occupy a prominent place at the exhibit. Other entries, the fine quality of which assures them a place In the spacious galleries of the art building, build-ing, are those of William Rltschel, H. Dudley Murphy, Kmlle A. Gruppe, Rudolph F. Ingerle, Ded-rick Ded-rick B. Stuber, Ferdinand Burg-dorff, Burg-dorff, John Law Walker, Chauncey F. Ryder and many others. The national display mt plotateai will be placed In the galleries on the second floor of the art building and those of the high school permanent per-manent collection, valued at mora than $130,000, will be on the main floor. That show attendance may exceed ex-ceed previous yeras, when more than 50.000 people have visited the galleries, is evidenced by reservations reserva-tions now being made by prospective prospec-tive visiting troupe. |
