Show Racers Get Ready For Trial Runs (Continued From Precedlns Para inside front row spot. Qualifiers on other dsys must line up behind those who make the grade tomorrow, regardless re-gardless of their speed. Fight for Pole Seven drivers were listed today as the probable contenders for the pole. They are Rex Mays of Glen-dale, Glen-dale, Cal.; Babe Stapp, Bow Swan-son Swan-son and Kelly Petillo, all of Los Angeles; An-geles; Wilbur Shaw of Indianapolis; Ted Horn of Burbank, Cal., and Snyder. Such drivers as Louis Meyer of Hunting Park, Cal., three-time winner win-ner of the race, and Floyd Roberts of Van Nuys, Cal., who won both the pole and the race last year, admittedly ad-mittedly have enough speed to be contenders for the front row, but they have said they'll be content to "get in the race."
