Fight for Pole Seven drivers were listed today as the probable contenders for the pole. They are Rex Mays of Glen-dale, Glen-dale, Cal.; Babe Stapp, Bow Swan-son Swan-son and Kelly Petillo, all of Los Angeles; An-geles; Wilbur Shaw of Indianapolis; Ted Horn of Burbank, Cal., and Snyder. Such drivers as Louis Meyer of Hunting Park, Cal., three-time winner win-ner of the race, and Floyd Roberts of Van Nuys, Cal., who won both the pole and the race last year, admittedly ad-mittedly have enough speed to be contenders for the front row, but they have said they'll be content to "get in the race."
