ECCLES He Calls Junior C C Meat CIVIC-VORKERS-TO MAP PLANS OGDEN Fifteen organisations will be represented at th Saturday meeting of th stats Junior cham-1 cham-1 ber of commerce directors at 4 p. m., in th Newhouse hotel in Salt Lake City, to hear reports on varied subjects. Committees will tell of progrees made on projects being sponsored by local organisations, including winter sports, safety, government, Christmas lighting, and conservation, conserva-tion, Williard L. Eccles, president, said. Included In the safety campaign to be advanced by the state organisation organi-sation is the proposed deputising of several hundred private citlsens to cooperate with officere in reporting re-porting violations of traffic laws on the highways. Such a program Is successfully being conducted in eastern state. The Rev. Dr. John Edward Carver and C. N. Woods, associate regional region-al forester, were Instigators of the plan in Utah. |
