Nut-tall Nut-tall of 1772 Harvard avenue in a robbery attempt Wednesday near midnight. Mrs. Nuttall, telephone operator in the public safety building, reported re-ported she left work about 11:30 p. m. and caught a bus at Second South and Main streets. When she left the bus at Seventeenth Seven-teenth East treet and Harvard avenue she observed an automobile automo-bile she had seen when she boarded board-ed the bus. The car passed and stopped three houses from her. home, she I said. ' As she passed a driveway the 1 youth ran out and grabbed for her I purse, which contained money from , her pay check. "Give me that purse or. I'll mur-i mur-i der you," the boy threatened. - Mrs. Nuttall took a firmer grasp on the purse, screamed ana attempted at-tempted to get away. In an Effort to throttle the cries, the youth put his hand over his victim's mouth. He was frightened away by someone in the neighborhood opening open-ing a door. He escaped in the car. |
