Thompson of Denver, noted traffic analyst and travel bureau director. In a letter to Cut P. Backman, executive secretary of the chamber cham-ber of commerce, Mr. Thompson forecast Utah's 1940 tourist Income In-come will reach $38,698,230, com-. com-. pared with 839,180,239 In 1939, an Increase at 10 per. cent The Increase will result through . stoppage of European travel due to the war. Another factor, M. Thompson said .will be reopening of the Golden Gate International exposition expo-sition and tha New York fair.
