Show Benefit Fete Planned by Service Star- Proceeds from the benefit bridge luncheon member of the Salt Lake County Service 8tar legion are giving Saturday at 1:30 p. m. at Memorial house. Memory park, will be ased lor the annual patriotic pa-triotic essay contest the legion sponsor each year for lower division divi-sion high school students. Cochalrmen arranging the luncheon lunch-eon are Mrs. F. H. Thatcher, president; presi-dent; Mrs. J. M. Thomas, star point education committee chairman, and Mrs. Horace W. Shurtletf, en-tertainment en-tertainment chairman. , Members of the reception committee com-mittee include Mr. A, A. Green, Mr. Victor C, Vetty and Mr. C A. Cook. Mrs. W. A. Rupsa and Mrs. R. W. Fisher have charge of the tables, while Mr. P. J. O'Car-roll O'Car-roll and Mrs. H. R. Don are serving serv-ing on the committee for prizes. On the refreshment committee are Mr. Ralph M. Thomas, Mrs. R. & Coilett, Mr. Ken McShane, Mrs. V. L. Oleson, Mr. T. L. McKean, Mr 9Tt Curley, Mr. Kin-don Kin-don R. Jenson, Mrs. E. A. Levy and Mrs. Ruth C, Fabian. |
