Show LAST RITES SET FOR SCOWCROFT Special to The Telegram OGDEN, Feb. 1 Funeral services ser-vices for Wlllard Scowcroft, 74, last survivor of the founders of the Ogden firm bearing his name, will be conducted at 2 p. m. Sunday Sun-day at the Ogden Fifth L. D. S. ward chapel, in charge of Bishop Austin H. Shaw. Interment will be In the family plot at Ogden City cemetery. Mr. Scowcroft's Dody was found Wednesday in a canal near the Old Mill club, half a mile downstream down-stream from his automobile, which had plunged Into the water. Officers Offi-cers said Mr. Scowcrolt drowned while trying to swim from the partly submerged car. The death will not be classified as a traffic fatality as far as Ogden Og-den city Is concerned, said Sergeant Ser-geant Darrell E. Shaw, head of the police traffic division. |
