Sponsored by ths Salt Lake Chamber of Com-mn-ce, the tourney will again feature th top Jumpers in Utah and surrounding states. Ths three winners last year, Alf Engen, Jack Reddish and Corey Engen, who placed one, two, three. will all be back to defend their places.. Three Classes Competition will be held In ths open end A, B and C classes with trophies being awarded to the winners in the three amateur divisions. Skiers have spent two weeks getting the hill In shape and aky riders who Jumped in practice last week reported the landing to be la perfect condition. Admission to ths meet at Alta will be free and officials of ths Chsmber of Commerce expect a large crowd to watch the Jumpa, especially If the "soring'' weather continues. Local Jumpers . Besides last year's winners, some local Jumpers Jump-ers who hsve entered include Ike HaD, Dave Quln-ney, Quln-ney, Sverre Engen, Gordon Despain, Jim Crawford Craw-ford and Junior Bounous. Because of the fact that th Landes meet will be the first Jumping competition held in the United States this 184K-&0 season a large number of out-of-state skiers are expected to compete. Entries should be In by 10 a.m. Saturday, but will be accepted ac-cepted on the hill Sunday.
