Show Matron's Riles Set Thursday Funeral cervices for Mr. Margaret Mar-garet Outcalt, 88, ?018-th East, who died Tuesday at 4:115 a.m. at the family residence resi-dence of a heart ailment, will be conducted Thursday Thurs-day st 2 p.m. at S74 E. 1st South. Rev. W. Malcolm Gwaltney, pastor of the First Presbyterian Pres-byterian church, will officiate. Mrs. Outcalt waa born Feb. 10. 181. in Ant- Mrs. Outcalt werp, Ohio, a daughter of Adam and Sarah Ann McDaniel. After completing elementary schooling, she entered Ottoman college at Westervill, Ohio, being graduated at the age of 16 In 1877. After her graduation, ah taught school In Antwerp and In Plymouth. Plym-outh. Ind., where the family moved in 1888. While in Plymouth aha met William B. Outcalt, and they were married Aug. 24, 1892. The couple came to Utah In 1897 and settled first In Ogden, later coming to Salt Lake City, where Mrs. Outcalt accepted a position In Salt Lake City schools under . Dr. J. F, Millspangh, sa early oai perintendent. Mrs. Outcalt continued con-tinued in the city schools 27 years, teaching English and related subjects sub-jects In Junior high school grade. She retired In 1925. She mi a member of the First Presbytsrian church, having been active in women's work during her younger years. She la survived by her husband, William B. Outcalt. Friends may call at the place of funeral prior to services. Burial will be In Mount Olivet cemetery. |
