Show Funeral for Utah Rancher Scheduled for Friday COALVILLE, Oct. 6 Funeral services for Axcil Blonquist, 83, public worker, banker and rancher, will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in Coalville stake house. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Sainta. Mr. Blonquist was a founder of the First National Bank of Coal-, vllle and was president of the institution in-stitution at the time of his death. He had served in that capacity 19 years. He also founded the Summit Furniture and Mercantile Co. of Coalville, now owned and operated by members of his family. Bora la Sweden - Born In Sweden Feb. 10, 1864, Mr. Blonquist was a son of Larua land Anna Blonquist. He moved to Salt Lake City with his mother when he was six years old, attending attend-ing schools there. Later he attended at-tended Brtgham Young academy at Provo. He had been active In the Republican party in Summit county and was a member of the L D S church. continued to operate a farm and cattle ranch near Coalville. W. Blonquist, Richfield. Friends may call at the family residence Thursday, until 9 p.m. and Friday until time of services. Interment will be in Coalville city cemetery. j |
