Htm" " ""nun., t ' ' 1 ) , I) MISS MARJORIE JUDD Music took a holiday during "rush week" Music Must Take Back Seat To Utah Sororitys' Acitvities Coed Promises to Make Up for Laxity When Campus Returns to Normal Recipient of a year's music scholarship by the Salt Lake Music council, iMss Marjorie Judd, popular University of Utah coed, was unable to abide with her routine of two-hour daily practice this week. Majority of her time waa occupied occu-pied supervising "rushing" activities activi-ties of the PI Beta Phi sorority, of which she Is chairman. "I'll make up for the laxity next week, however," the attractive brunette bru-nette student aaid. A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Judd of M C street, she haa taken piano lessons for about four years. She is a junior In the university school of business. Her hopes of becoming an expert along mercantile lines are almost as cherished as her desire some day of being a concert pianist. She plans to continue her schooling at Stanford university, following her graduation from the Utah institution. |
