Show - M ill ii i i TWO UNDESIRABLE IMMIGRANTS. e The attention of the Immigration Commission should be called to the report that tTie Crown Trin-cess Trin-cess of Saxony and M. CI iron, the tutor, are coming to this country. Their intention to do bo has been affirmed and denied. They are still in Zurich, Switzerland, Swit-zerland, where they are safe from molestation by the authorities, and where they do not occupy as large a place in the public eye as they would if they came to the United States. Should this couple attempt to land in America, they should be promptly deported deport-ed under the immigration law. We have no place here for such persons. The immigration laws were enacted to protect us not only from the scum of the pauper classes of Europe, but to exclude criminals. be they humble or of royal blood. It has become the custom for rascals of noble blood to come to America to lfve when Europe gets too hot for them. A hint froin Washington to the Immigration Commissioner Com-missioner in New York would have the effect of preventing this vicious and offensive couple from landing in this country. The proper home for these moral lepers is in Paris or Vienna, the two wickedest wicked-est cities in the world. |
