Show HENRY POOR DEAD; RAILROAD AUTHORITY BOSTON, Jan. 6. Henry V. Poor, widely wide-ly known for many years as a railroad authority and expert on financial affairs, is dead at his horn In Brookllne. Mr. Poor fell on the Ice and broke his ankle three weeks ago, and the shock to his system eventually affected his heart. He waa born In Maine In 1813. He was the oldest graduate of Bowdoln college. Mr. Poor lived Tor many years In New Tork, where he published a railroad manual man-ual and wrote books on financial subjects. |
