Show STAFF OF ST. MARK'S WILL BE ENLARGED The medical staff of St. Mark's hos-) pital Is to be enlarged in the course of the next few weeks by the addition of the best known physicians and surgeons sur-geons in the city. The present staff is to be retained. It is the intention bf the hospital officials to make the St. Mark's staff one of the strongest in the West The present system of supervision will be discontinued when the enlarged staff assumes its duties, and a new system inaugurated. The new medical medi-cal staff will consist of a surgical board of six members, a medical board of six members, and an opthalmological board of four. The selection of three new medical men, two new surgeons and three opthalmologlsts will be made necessary. Each of tie six surgeons will be In charge of the surgical work for two months of each year and in the medical department the same rule will be observed ob-served so that each physician and each surgeon will have charge of the work In turn. A new wing, to have sixty private rooms, Is to be buiMat once. |
