Show CHURCH WOMEN TO RUN JEWELRY STORE Ladies of St Mark's Guild Embark in an TJp-to-Date Venture. The ladies of St. Mark's guild have embarked in the Jewelry business io this extent: They have arranged with W. W. Hall, Jeweler, 227 South Main street, to take charge of his store for one week, beginning be-ginning next Monday. The plan is to run the business upona-percentage of the gross receipts for the week, the proceeds to go toward the building fund of St. Mark's cathedral. The members ot the guild will act as saleswomen, sales-women, taking turns from day to day. During this sale, the goods will be sold at a reduced price, thus making ( It an Inducement to the public to buy. Mr. Hall's store Is stocked with a new and well assorted stock of goods and it Is predicted that the ladles will realize real-ize a snug sum through this enterprise. |
