I r.ous Brown-Bradley case,- was arrest- j ed last night on warrants charging her with having., committed an offense in j connection with former Senator Arthur j Brown., ... - The warrant was issued by Judge j Dlehl, "at the instance of Mrs. . Isabel j ' Cameron Brown, wife of the former - ' Senator. The warrant was placed in the hands of Deputy Sheriffs Cowan and Steele. The officers found Mrs. i Bradley and Mr.- Brown at supper in a private house on Second "West street. vTh'e officers 'were admitted to the resl- I! dence at once, and placed Mrs. Bradley . under arrest. Brown is said to have directed di-rected a .tirade of abuse at the officers.' j He insisted upon accompanying Mrs. --a Bradley to -the station. In answer Brown de clared his intention- of filing damage suits against all the officers, including the County Attorney, the Sheriff and the deputies; $50,000 was the sum he ' would demand from Sheriff Emery, he eaid. , -- Judge Dlehl soon reached the cham- ! ber, and Brown demanded that a bond be fixed at once, and agreed to sign for ?the amount. The Judge informed him that two signatures were necessary on the hond, and Brown began to instruct the Judge. Judge Dlehl rebuked Mr. Brown, and Brown became quiescent. -The bond was at last arranged, in the . sum of $500, and was signed by Harry Newell and Mr. Brown.
