Show SIX INDICTMENTS RETURNED BY JURY Six true bills were returned by the Federal grand Jury Saturday evening, and the Jury was the discharged. No indictments were returned in the cases of F. G. Luke, accused of Improper use of the malls; M. A. Wlllumsen, editor of the American Eagle at Murray, charged with sending obscene printed matter through the mails. Reuben S. Collett formerly postmaster postmas-ter at Vernal, was Indicted on a charge of embezzling $74,84. on one count, and $827.66 on the second. Capt Andrew A. Smith, charged with opening letters and stealing money from them, was indicted. Arthur Ar-thur Tew was also indicted on the same charge. Indictments were returned against Andrew Christensen and A. McCarthy for having In their possession posses-sion and passing counterfeits of coin of the United States. |
