People of Whlteley, a suburb, are trying to figure out how an eighteen-months-old baby remained re-mained in a deep cistern, filled with water, for over half an hour without being be-ing drowned. Gladys, a year and a half old, the Infant daughter of John llahn, was tsken out of a cistern a half-hour after she had fallen in and is suffering no ill effects. When the child was found she was clinging with her fingers to a ledge in the cistern wall. |
