Show MRS. MARY HULL IS INJURED OR ILL Mother-in-Law of Murdered millionaire million-aire Burdick, Exported to Be In Serious Condition. BUFFALO. N. Y.. March 19. A rumor ; was current last night to the effect that Mrs. Mary Hull, mother-in-law of the late j Edwin Burdlcc, who was murdered on February 27th. had been seriously injured or was 111. Kfforts were made to learn the real farts, but all requests at the Burdick residence for- Information were met by a refusal to discuss the subject. A young man who said his name was Allen, and that he was a friend of the family, acted as spokesman. He said: "I refuse to conflrji or deny the story that Mrs. Hull was injured or that she Is In other than her usual health, except to say that she Is weakening under the terrible terri-ble nervous strain to which she has been subjected and has not been herself since the trying experience on the witness stand." Dr. Marcy, the family physician, was not called to the Burdick house. , |
