Show FOURTH DAY'S RACE AT LARAMIE. WYO. BEGINS The fourth annual three days' racing ot tbe Albany County. Fair association began at Laramie, Lar-amie, Wya, Thursday afternoon and will' end Saturday. The programme yesterday consisted con-sisted of five events, a 2:15 trot, a pole team race, foot race, cow-pony race, 2:15 pace. . i Tom Jay, of Cheyenne,, won the purse of 250 for the - match cow-pony race against Fred 8nyder ot Laramie. Stelmo, owned by M. H. Morgan of Fort Collins, won the 2:15 trot. Kline's Rose aod Thorn won the pole team half-mile In two straight heats. In 1:4H and 1:36., Teddy Weaver won tbe 2:li pace In 2:25. .1 Fred Snyder won tbe cow-pony race of one-half one-half mile In one minute flat. A large attendance attend-ance took advantage of the perfect weafvr to witness the sports. |
