UNION PACIFIC TO BUY ANOTHER ROAD NEW YORK, Sept. 21. The World today states that negotiations are in progress between be-tween E. H. Harriman, William Rockefeller and the Smith estate, by which control of the Chicago, Milwaukee k St. Panl railroad may be turned over to the Union Pacific and Southern Pacific companies. I'pon the success suc-cess of these negotiations will depend the carrying out of the deal by which the Baltimore Balti-more A Ohio ia to become part of the Union Pacific system. The World says that the statement was made yesterday by a high Wall street authority au-thority who predicted that within sixty days the terms of the deal would be made known.
