The floor was strewn with broken dishes and with kitchen utensils, and panes in tha kitchen windows, within striking distance of his arms, were in splinters, all from his struggles strug-gles for food. The little one was taken to a hospital. It is believed he can be nursed back to health. Mrs. Byram probably dropped dead from heart disease. She had not been seen for four days. |
