A woman's wo-man's jealousy may be the means of bringing to justice the slayer of Mrs. Maurice K. Lewis, who was killed here in the presence of her baby, who is not yet old enough to tell about It. Mrs. Lewis, it Is learned, was, before her marriage, one of the fast set in Pittsburg. Pitts-burg. ITcr associates were from the ranks of the steel millionaires. After her marriage the attentions of these did not cease. Several of those who knew Mrs. Lewis before her marriage have found It advisable to go on long vacations vaca-tions far away from the United States. One of these was attentive to a woman who still stands high In Pittsburg society. This Pittsburg woman learned that the man In the case had not ceased his attentions at-tentions to Mrs. Lewis, and. because of her jealousy, watched him. She has told the police that the man who Jilted her for Mrs. Lewis is the man who killed Mrs. Lewis. The police are seeking him, but it is learned that he has fled to a foreign for-eign country. |
