CRUELTY CAUSES ; COUPLES' DIVORCES Cruelty caused the separation of" three couples in Judge Morse's court this morning. Because Richard L. Williams I was 111 treated by his wife, he was J granted a divorce from Mrs. Edith Williams. Wil-liams. Mrs.- Williams filed suit for 1 separate 'maintenance against her husband hus-band charging him with cruelty. Williams Wil-liams filed a cross-bill In which he demanded de-manded a divorce on ' the ground of cruelty. It was on this bill that a dl- " vorce was granted. Mrs. Williams was awarded $30 a month alimony and the care and custody of their two children. Ada Thomas was given a divorce from W. H. Thomas on the grounds of cruelty. The plaintiff was awarded $50 attorney's fees and $15 a month alimony. A decree of divorce was also given Mrs. Ellen Robinson from John Robinson Robin-son on the grounds of cruelty.
