Show IN SULPHIDES AT ELY. Sulphide ores are in evidence in ell-the ell-the three shafts of the Ely Consolidated company. The Brilliant shaft, at 215 feet, is in 24 feet of ore; the American is down 3H feet, and in addition to eopner values has silver and lead. The Zach shaft is down 265 feet, and has been in copper sulphides continuously emee it reached a point 242 feet Telow the surface. The . diamond drill has shown ore to exist on the property to a depth of 20S feet, below which point the drill used could not extend. This information was brought to Salt Lake by O. Jeldness, general managed man-aged of the company, who came in to meet Willard Snyder, to whose energies ener-gies the organization of the company and the development of the property is due. Mr. Snyder had arrived from New York, where he has opened headquarters head-quarters at 25 Broad street, and he was planning to return there as soon as possible after completing the arrangements ar-rangements for taking over, on behalf of the company, of aiditional ground adjoining the already large estate. When this additional ground is ipeluded the company will own a total of 450 acres in the most promising section of the Ely district. Mr. Snyder stated that the stock will be uiderwrittea in the East, and it is already in demand on the New York curb, it is said. ' at 3 to $3.60 per share a higher figure than has heretofore hereto-fore been attained by any of the other of the younger Ely issues. |
