Show TINTIC BREAD-WINNERS. At a meeting of the Beck Tunnel directors in Provo Saturday' last, a dividend of 4 cents per share, aggregating aggre-gating $40,000, was declared, payable November 20. The books will close on the 15th. This distribution to -stockholders is 1 cent a share better than heretofore has been the custom of the Beck Tunnel companv 's directors. Thev explain it as having been made possible by the accumulation of surplus to a point greater than was needed as a guarantee for further operations should emergencies arise. The Grand Central and .the Victoria Mining companies also posted dividends of 6 cents a share, $15,000, and 4 rents a share, $10,000, respectively. Books close on the 12th, dividends pavable on the 15th. The directors of the Carisa company posted a dividend of 1 cent a snare, "ggegating $5000, Saturday afternoon. All these properties are in the Tintic district, which is becoming famous for its plethoric yields for stockholders. |
