"I have read any number of books thst I thought were good, but 'Blindfolded' i the first one that wss 'too good.' I sat down with a copy to read s frw chapters before lunching with some friends. Before I had read a dozen pages I " had forgotten friemls, luncheon and everything else, and I did not put the book down until I had read it through. "I squared myself, though, with my friends bv sending each of them a copy of Blindfoliied. ' and now thev are unkind enough to say that they are glad that I forgot about the luncheon. Thev all say, and T agree with them, that 'Blindfolded' is the best detectivn story that has come out in a month of Sundavs. " EDNA WALLACE HOPPER. For sale by all booksellers. The plot 'blindfolded' me until the last pat:e of the book. It is tlie greatest rombination novel and detective story that I have ever read. In fact, it is easy to sav it is the best of its kind, because there situplv isn't any other like it. The minute I finished reading it I started right in to Tcad it the second time, and I cannot remember when anv other book has been so fascinating and exciting as to make me want to do that." LEW FIELKS.
