This morning, while driving a wagon belonging to It Wagener Brewing company, com-pany, loaded with forty-five sacks of barley, east along Second South, the right front wheel of the wagon suddenly sudden-ly came off and threw the vehicle on its side. Mr. Rhine was sea ted, under a cover at the time and bad an almost miraculous escape from being buried beneath the grain. The burr to the wheel had come off and when the wagon struck the curve of the car track the heavy load slipped. Mr, Ehine kept a tight rein on his three horses which prevented them from running. Mr. Rhine's right leg was bruised and several bushels of barley bar-ley were lost. |
