Show WORK OF DEAF AND BLIND PUPILS SHOWN Superintendent F. M. Driggs of the Deaf and Blind school yesterday placed on exhibition at the Swan building, one of the most unique and fine displays at the joint commerce exhibit. This consists of a large hexigonal oak pedestal in which is arranged the work done in the different years. Nothing is impossible for these students 60 badly handicapped to attempt and the work which is here shown is remarkable. remark-able. Shoes are shown which cannot be told from the machine made, and yet they were mado by hand. The domestic science department is well displayed as well as the manual side. This will form one of the chief attractions at the commercial com-mercial exhibit and well worth careful notice. |
