The demurrer was sustained, but the court allowed a hearing of the .motion and the petition upon the merits. - .The companies mentioned, va well, as the United States Smelting company asked that they be allowed to mix ores so that they woujd contain but 10 per eent sulphur' and then smelt them. The court declared that it would not change the injunction which requires that no ores containing abovr 10 per eent sulphur sul-phur shall be roasted or smelted. Tbe United. States smelter is said to be hit the-hardest by the action as the ore there runs uq. as high as 30 per cat sulphur. , s - ..-- |
