Show INTENDED TO KILL SUPT. F..A. TAYLOR General Manager D. C. Jackling of the TJah Copper company, which company com-pany owns the Bingham Central, made the following statement to THE TELEGRAM TEL-EGRAM at noon today: "Tbe killing of Tom White comes to me as a profound shock. I beard of it. but a few hours ago. White, from the reeord which we have of bim, was an honest, reliable man, and as far-as we have been able to ascertain, without an enemy. " - "X do not believe that the shot that killed . Tom . White was intended for him, . I am rather of the opinion that the shot was intended for onr superintendent, superin-tendent, Frank A. Taylor. "Frank bas charge of the office in which White-was murdered. Taylor came to town last night on business and left White in charge of tbe office. "Lew Gibson, wbo is employed a short distance above the office, passed the office about 7 o'clock this morning and spoke to White. White, who is a blacksmith and who has been employed in sharpening tools for two of our i mines, told Gibson ' that he would be up to see him in a few minutes. Gibson Gib-son waited fo'r nearly an hour and then eame back to the office, where he found the man dead. ' 'It was a murder, cold blooded and simple, and the company proposes to do everything in its power to assist the officers in the bringing of the murderers, to Justice. 7 " ' ' " " ' ' , .
