Show MINING BRIEFS. W. V. Rice has returned from the properties of the Nevada Hills company, com-pany, at Falrvlew, and says that his company is developing an Immense tonnage of ores of a shipping grade. Star Consolldated's delinquent sale takes place at the company's offices at 3 o'clock this afterjioon on the levy of S cents per share made recently. Ben D. Luce has purchased some additional ad-ditional ground in the Falrvlew camp, and while the figures are not given, the ore developed on the around shows as much as $300 per ton in values. Ore and bullion settlements yesterday yester-day amounted to $67,700, according to McCornick & Co., divided as follows: Sliver, lead, gold and copper ores, $35.-000; $35.-000; base bullon, $24,500; gold bars. $8200. - Books close tomorrow on the transfer ! of the stock of the Consolidated Mercur company on the recent dividend of $25,000 that was posted by the directors. |
