OCR Text	Show MURDERER PAYS CRIME'S PENALTY WALLA, WALLA, Wash.. June 8. . A. A. Armstrong was hanged at . the State penitentiary this morning- for the murder of Robert Patton. The trap was spring at 6:26 o'clock and death ensued twelve minutes and forty-five seconds later. His neck was broken by the drop. Armstrong made a short speech fron the scaffold saying a greater injustice had been done him and his people than he had done, and that the execution was not right. He was very cooL The killing occurred three years ago in Che-halls Che-halls county, this State.
