Show SHOWS IMPROVEMENT IN CITY'S FINANCES City Auditor Felt presepted his annual financial' report for 1904 Monday night. The report shows an apparent improvement improve-ment in the city's finances over 1903, In the sum of $70,809.40. From this Is to be dtducted $3,157.83 for the city's portion of street and sidewalk paving completed, but not transferred from the general fund, leaving an actual Improvement In the sjm of J49.711.67. The receipts from all departments for 19m were J819.55S.57, of which service transfers trans-fers amounted to JrtW.i' and the actual cash received 8M2.899.39. The dlsburements by h11 departments totaled to-taled )5,S74.70. The receipts from licenses were $171.240.7j. of which the liquor dealers paid J124.7'W. The general taxes amounted to J14,U62.50. The total receipts In waterworks water-works funds amounted to JrfT.721.4S. while the total receipts in streets and sidewalks funds amounted to J110.&4.&. |
