Show WILL NOT DEPEND UPON NATIONAL PROTECTION President Rtehel of the Pacific National league and Secretary Sheppard of tha Salt Lake club returned Monday after attending attend-ing the league meeting at Butte. They announce an-nounce that there will be a Pacific National Nation-al league this season, whether It Is under the protection of the National association or not. After the applications of Helena and Ogam Og-am tor franchises had been acted upon the affairs of the league were thoroughly discussed, and It was discovered that none of the towns represented would consider Joining Lucas' Northwest league for a moment, mo-ment, and that they would be represented in the Pacific National or not at all. Secretary FaiTell of the National association asso-ciation has notified the Pacific National that a hearing would be given that organization organi-zation at the meeting of the national commission, com-mission, which will be held In New York Wednesday and Thursday.
