Show SOCIETY S MR. AND MRS. JACOB MORITZ left Saturday morning for New York, where they will attend the horse show. They will be absent from the city for three weeks. THE MARRIAGE of Miss Birdie Parker, Par-ker, daughter of Mrs. Llnie Parker, to E. L. Bachtel took place Saturday night at the home of the bride's mother, on H street. The marriage service was read at 7 o'clock by the Rev. Elmer I. Goshen j, iof the First Congregational church, and tinly the close relatives were present. 'Mr. and Mrs. Bachtel left on the late train for Chicago, where they will reside. MISS ETHEL WILLIAMS will leave next Friday for Los Angeles, where she. will stay through the winter. THE CHRISTENSEN informal soirees, that have been so popular for several seasons, will be resumed Wednesday evening at Unity hall, 140 Second East street. The Doollttle club will give its first dance next Friday night at the Ladies Literary club. MRS. JOHN C. CUTLER, JR.. will entertain en-tertain tomorrow in honor of Miss Antoinette An-toinette Lam bourne. 'MR. AND MRS. E. O. HOWARD have gone to Los Angeles and the coast, to be gone a month.
