Show LIVERPOOL SLUMP SENDS COTTON DOWN NEW ORLEANS, Nov. 13. The news of the slump in Liverpool reaching here early this morning created a panicky feeling in the cotton market, which shortly after the opening showed a decline de-cline of Jl a bale. The break at Liverpool Liver-pool was of over $2 a bale and was said to be due to American longs realizing profits there. December here, which closed Satur- day at 11.32. opened at 11.10, and ahort-' ahort-' . ly thereafter sunk four to five points. With strong bull support, however, the market within the first half hour had recovered 9 to 10 points of Its loss. |
