Show JAMES HAZEN HYDE NAY CREATE A SENSATION IN INSURANCE TESTIMONY NEW TORK. Nov. 13. Statements of an entirely new and Interesting character charac-ter are looked for, says the Tribune, when James Hazen Hyde takes the witness wit-ness stand before the Legislative Insurance Insur-ance committee this week. Despite the nature of the Hendricks and Frlck reports re-ports and the many disclosures that have been made since the Equitable imbroglio began. Mr. Hyde is expected to cause at least one sensation in his testimony. John R. Hegeman. the president of the Metropolitan Life, it is believed, will take the stand when the committee resumes its sessions this morning. Haley Ha-ley Fiske will probably follow Mr. Hegeman. He-geman. Mr. Hyde, according to Intentions Inten-tions yesterday, will begin his testimony testi-mony tomorrow. As a result of this testimony tes-timony Jacob H. Schiff may be recalled to the stand. The Equitable witnesses will Include likewise Senator Chauncey M. Depew, Gen. Louis Fitzgerald, Edward H. Har-riman. Har-riman. Gage E. Tarbell and George T. Wilson. It Is said that the committee will make a formal request to President McCall of the New York Life that "Judge" Hamilton return to this icoun-try icoun-try and State this year. Apparently the committee is still unable un-able to discover the whereabouts of Al Fields and Thomas D. Jordan, the ex-controller ex-controller of the Equitable Life. Mr. Fields was last, according to accounts, in California. |
