Show BULLDOG HOLDS BOLD HOLD-UP UP Incidentally Takes Strip. From Trousers as Evidence Evi-dence inCase. J. E. Evans can thank a fine bulldog which he owns for protection from a bold hold-up who attempted to rob him early this morning. The would-be robber rob-ber can also thank the bulldog for creating the necesflty for him to secure a' new suit of clothes. The hold-up accosted' Evans, who was on his way home, and the bulldog made immediate connections with the seat of the robber's trousers. The police po-lice can thank the bulldog for a clue to the Identity of the robber, in the shape of a piece of trousers goods fully a foot long and eight inches wide. The robber escaped, but did not return re-turn to recover the cloth with which to patch the damaged garment. |
