Friday and Dean Loose prominent Provo man is in the Utah county jail held pending the outcome of the accident D. D V. V Hardesty who sufI suffered suf suf- suf I two broken ribs in the accident and Walter Jones affected by shock are arc being cared for in Provo They were hitchhikers who were picked up by the Williams girls and were in the rumble seat of the Williams automobile automobile automobile automo automo- bile when the accident occurred Sheriff E E. E G. G Durnell says that immediately after the accident Mr Loose removed a partly filled gallon jug of liquor and hid it near the high high- way The sheriff sherif recovered the jug and listed witnesses he says told him they saw Mr Loose take the jug from his car The Williams car being driven north was crashed Into b by the Loose car southbound which was on the wrong side o of the highway The Williams Wil Wil- liams hams car was demolished and the occupants occupants oc oe oc- oc were catapulted to the ground some distance away The extent of the injuries sustained by the girls could not be determined on account of the serious condition they were in Passersby Passers took the sisters to Amer Amer- American ican can ican Fork and Sheriff Durnell took the he men and Mr Loese Loose to Provo after investigating the crash The Williams girls are daughters of or Mr and Mrs Ed L.
