I Among the most important factors fac-tors of home planning, according o the authors, are good arrangements arrange-ments between indoor living room and outside living area, proximity of indoor and outdoor service, consideration con-sideration of sunshine in kitchen and living room, and views from the living room. The authors aintain that when home properties proper-ties are well planned they have a much better chance to be beautiful beauti-ful and convenient. These bulletins will be furnished, furnish-ed, upon request, from the county coun-ty agent's office or from the Utah State Agricultural college extension exten-sion service, Logan. BULLETINS ON HOMES AND GROUNDS READY Utah county residents interested in building or remodeling houses or improving the appearance of their home grounds, will be interested inter-ested in two new publications of the Utah State Extension service, according, to S. R. Boswell, county coun-ty agent.' The bulletin, "Planning and Developing Home Grounds," and "Basic Ideas for Rural Homes," were prepared by specialists of he extension service. Mrs. Effie Barrows, home furnishing specialist, special-ist, is the author of the bulletin which presents suggestions , for rural homes. The publication is well illustrated throughout, and includes a number of suggestive floor plans, as well as a discussion of the part each 'of the house should serve. Laval S. Morris and Rachael B. Morris, extension landscape architects, ar-chitects, are co-authors of the Home Grounds bullein. This publication publi-cation contains (52 illustrations and stresses the importance of |
