Stuart Home With Discharge Cpl. Lloyd L. Stuart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard S. Stuart, is home from the service after serving ser-ving 24 months in New Guinea and Japan with the Third Engineer Engi-neer Special Brigade. He is entitled en-titled to wear the Asiatic-Pacific Theater of Operations ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal, and Victory Ribbon, as well as the Meritorious Unit Service Placqule and five battle stars with a Bronze Arrowhead. Arrow-head. He has been in the service since June, 1943. Kent D. LeeMaster i Given Discharge SSgt. Kent D. LeeMaster has been given an honorable discharge from the Army after two and a half years of service. He spent 18 months overseas, in France and later in Germany, and is authorized author-ized to wear the Purple Heart, the Victory ribbon, Unit Citation with Cluster, and four battle stars. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. O. D. LeeMaster. Leland M. Hatfield Home To Stay T5 Leland M. Hatfield has been given an honorable discharge from the Army in which he enlisted en-listed in June, 1943. He served 17 months in Germany and France, and is entitled to wear the European Euro-pean Theater of Operations ribbon, rib-bon, the Good Conduct Medal, American Theater ribbon, the Victory ribbon ' and two battle stars. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hatfield of this city. Armed Forces Richard M. Johnson Given Honorable Discharge With a record of more than three years in the Army Air Corps, Richard M. Johnson Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Johnson, John-son, has been given an honorable discharge. He served 12 months in New Guinea and Japan with the Fifth Combat Cargo Sqd. He is authorized to wear the Asiatic-Pacific Asiatic-Pacific Theater of Operations ribbon, rib-bon, the Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Ribbon, Victory Vic-tory Ribbon and Philippine Liberation Lib-eration Ribbon, also the Air Medal Med-al and four stars. Paul S. Bramall Sends Appreciation To the Junior Chamber of Commerce Com-merce and all who make it possible pos-sible for Paul S. Bramall to receive re-ceive the Herald, he sends his deepest appreciation. He is stationed sta-tioned at present, at Gaum. Bert J. Bohn Given Discharge After 24 months of overseas service, mostly in the Philippines and New Guinea, Bert J. Bohn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul S. Warren, War-ren, has been given an honorable discharge. He has two battle stars in addition to the Asiatic-Pacific Asiatic-Pacific Theater of Operations ribbon, the Good Conduc medal, the Philippine Liberation ribbon and the Victory ribbon. Every place I've been, thus far, it has followed fol-lowed me right along. I surely appreciate it. At present, I am serving aboard the U.S.S. Guam. She is a CB (battle cruiser) type ship of about 27,000 tons. She just returned from duty in the Pacific and of all nights, I came aboard her on Christmas Eve. ? Reed Fletcher Given Discharge T5 Reed Fletcher, son of Mrs. Mae Fletcher, has been given an honorable discharge from the Ar my and has returned to his home 1 here. He has been in the service since March, 1943 and spent 18 months overseas, 12 months in the Philippines and six in New Guinea. He is entitled to wear the Asiatic-Pacific Theater of Operations Opera-tions ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal, American Theater ribbon and Victory ribbon, also the Philippine Phil-ippine Liberation ribbon and three battle stars.- His wife is tEe former for-mer Elaine Cherrington, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. U. Cherrington of this city. Wayne Holley Among Men Discharged TSgt. Wayne Holley, son of Mr. and Mr. Dallas Holley of Mapleton, has been given a discharge dis-charge from the service and returned re-turned to his home. He has served 18 months in the India, Burma, China Operations, and in addition to wearing the Asiatic-Pacific Theater of Operations ribbon, he has the Good Conduct Medal, the American Theater ribbon, Victory ribbon and three Bronze stars. He has been in the service since April, Ap-ril, 1942. Wm. L. Robertson ' Out Of Service Pfc. Wm. L. Robertson has been given an honorable discharge from the service. The husband of Mr. Beulah Taylor, he entered the Army in October of 1943, and has served 11 months overseas on Leyte and in the Hawaiian Islands. Is-lands. ' Earl Child Visits At Home SK 3c Earl Child spent the holidays with his wife, the former Lois Johnson, and children in this city. He was accompanied by SK 2c Wm. Wright of Boston, Mass., and Mrs. Wright came from Boston to meet her husband here and spend a week. During Major Sterling Price Given Terminal Leave Major Sterling Price, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Price of this city, has been processed for separation sep-aration from the Army at the war department personnel center at Fort Douglas, and is now on terminal leave. Lt. Lucille Crandall Home To Stay Lt. Lucille Crandall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Welby Crandall, returned home recently and will be on terminal leave from the U. S. Army Nurse Corps until Jan. 30, when her discharge will become be-come effective. At that ime, she will have been made a captain in the ANC.
