Show BUS LINE TAKE OVER OLD JOBS When a New York bus line's drivers suddenly struck without warning at a minute past midnight mid-night recently and left 2,000 late-going late-going suburbanites stranded, the stockholders and office workers of the company rolled out of bed to rescue them. About 150 of the company stockholders are former bus driv-vers driv-vers of the company. They kept 78 of the line's normal 96 buses running and provided service for 100,000 possengers. The flash strike was in violation viola-tion of a no-strike, no-lockout working agreeent with a union local. |
