Show MAPLET0NMAN IS WOUNDED AT OKINAWA Pfc. Blaine Reed Dibble, son of Mrs. Zina Dibble of Mapleton, has been wounded in action on Okinawa, Okina-wa, according to word received by his mother. The communication did not give the date of his injury. in-jury. Pfc. Dibble was wounded in the right arm, the left leg and the abdomen, according to the message. mes-sage. He went into the service in February, 1944, and left for overseas over-seas duty in August of the same year. He was with the infantry. Awaiting further details concerning con-cerning his injury are his mother, two sisters, Mrs. Berton Warren and Mrs. Welby Warren, and a brother, Fay Dipple, all of Maple-ton. |
