EMPLOYMENT IN UTAH SHOWS RECENT INCREASE Number of persons employed in' federal agencies and military establishments es-tablishments in Utah has increased 706 since September, Clark N. Stohl, inspector, U. S. Civil Service commission, reports. This increase places federal employment em-ployment within the state at approximately ap-proximately 20,000. In March, 20,435 persons were working for the federal government in Utah, Mr. Stohl said. Reductions during the spring and summer cut the number down to slightly more than 19,000. Largest personnel increase since September was at Hill Field where 548 workrs have been added, making a current total of 3684 employes. em-ployes.
