Show THREE NEW CLASSES TO BE STARTED AT VOCATIONAL SCHOOL Three additional classes, Recreational Recrea-tional Woodworking, Pattern making-wood, and the Slide Rule, will be offered at the Central Utah Vocational School in the near future, it was announced by Wilson Wil-son W. Sorensen, local director. The class in Recreational woodworking wood-working is one of the few classes offered by the school, 'which is designed to provide facilities and instruction for those desirous of working at hobbies and special interests, in-terests, and will teach the construction con-struction of furniture and wooden articles for home use. ..The individual indivi-dual must furnish his own materials. ma-terials. The pattern making class is intended in-tended for those who desire a practical knowledge of the elements ele-ments of pattern making. It is intended in-tended to supplement the knowledge know-ledge and skill learned on the job, and it will include training on a pattern makers milling machine. The Slide Rule class will study the principles of slide rule operations opera-tions as it applies to problems in multiplication, division, proportion, propor-tion, reciprocals, powers, roots, trigonometric and arithmetic problems, prob-lems, and conversion tables. Registration for these classes may be accomplished afternoons and evenings of this week at the vocational school office at the Fairgrounds. The time of meeting of these classes can be arranged for the evenings, or for Saturdays, at the convenience of, the applicants. appli-cants.
