Show Relief Society Holds Rose Garden Party Members of the Second ward Relief Society, under 'direction of Mrs. Ramola Norton, president, enjoyed a party in the rose garden of M. F. Miner on Tuesday afternoon. after-noon. The party was in memory of Mrs. M. F. (Ella) Miner who was chairman of the Relief Society Soci-ety Beautification committee, and the group enjoyed the beautiful rose garden at the Miner home. A delightful program was given during the afternoon, directed by Mrs. Rowena Rigtrup, and concist-ed concist-ed of a guitar selection by Carol Lee Childs; a harmonica number by Mrs. Ethel Miner; accordian selection by Mrs. Van Leuvan; a vocal solo by Mrs. Ellen Anderson; a vocal solo by Mrs. Norma M. Hartley; a vocal duet by Mrs. Hartley Hart-ley and her mother, Mrs. Eth 1 Miner; a vocal duet by Mrs. Clara Childs and Mrs. Thora Daley; readings, read-ings, Mrs. Delia Hall. Mrs. Eva Crandall also gave a tribute to M. F. Miner and the late Mrs. Miner. Min-er. The social was concluded with refreshments, served to a large group. |
